This here are father and mother. So we are going (or looking) when we are working in the beer-cellar.
A Bierkeller is a kind of restaurant in the cellar, where you can get mainly beer. Very popular especially in the southern part of Germany, but also known in the other parts.
"This is how we go to work in the basement." I think, this means the brewery. Because we refer to a brewery as Brauerei Keller.
