From Alt Custrinchen, they emigrated in 1859 to Dodge Co., WI, moving to St. Paul, Illinois in 1864. Their son Ludwig/Louis married Maria Augusta Oertwig. Exact date of photo unknown, but it was before 1899 when Fred died of a rattlesnack bite.
