George B. Beecher Obituary

Traer Star-Clipper, May 1912 --
George Beecher, who with his wife came here from Colorado last year, and has been living on the A. L. Ames farm, died Tues- (there is apparently a line missing) stroke last summer, and has been unable to get around since. He has been failing of late and died possibly as the result of a second stoke [sic]. Deceased was sixty years of age. He was born in Yorkville, Ill, January 12, 1852. He married Louise [sic] Usher, in Toledo, Iowa, who survives, together with one son in Colorado. Rev. Hunt had charge of the funeral services, which were held Wednesday at the Ames home. Burial in Buckingham cemetery.
