Triepkendorf is the village where weaver-master Carl Mueller lived, and where
his sons William and Franz were born. William emigrated to the US in 1888.
Carl Mueller had been born in Laeven, but the ancestors of both
his first and second wives had lived in Triepkendorf for several
generations, some as early as 1683.
