Sophie Priebe RUSCH Voelz and her husband Herman VOELZ lived at
Heyde in 1876, when her daughter Minnie married Carl Genz. Herman
and Sophie emigrated to the US in April 1878, along with Carl and
Minnie Genz, and Sophie's son Carl Rusch.

We have evidence that Heyde was also the residence of the Carl and
Johanne LABS in 1854 (birth of son Fred) and 1861 (birth of daughter
Wilhelmine). As a widow, Johanne lived here in 1878 (marriage of son Fred),
and 1883 (marriage of daughter Wilhelmine).
However Carl and Johanne Labs' son Johann was born in Dolgenow
in 1857; and at the time of Johann's (2nd) marriage, in 1895,
Johanne was living in Buslar.
