Tinlis and Lucy were divorced about 1894.

- died May 1912, Tama Co. Iowa
- buried Buckingham Cemetery, Traer, Tama Co., Iowa

George Beecher's obituary gives birth year of 1852, and place: Yorkville, Illinois.
1850 census indicates 1849 birth. Marriage record gives birthplace as Kendall County, Illinois
- 1895, George and Lucy were in Toledo, Tama County, Iowa. He was a blacksmith and machinist.
- 1900, they lived in Cimmaron Twp., Logan County, Oklahoma, where he was a blacksmith.

After George's death, Lucy lived with her next older sister Cornelia Priscilla Blanchard in McHenry County, Illinois. Lucy died there in 1917.
